Cistern Covers for Rainwater Collection and Harvesting
Shade Tree recommends using a 95% shade cloth as a cistern cover as the most effective for exclusion of insects and debris. All of our shade fabrics are UV-stabilized so that they are not deteriorated by sunlight.
The shade cloth seams are not sealed and rain water will seep through the porous fabric. Shade Tree's cistern covers are maintenance free and easily installed by home owners. Shade Tree creates a binding around the edge of the cover to prevent the shade cloth from unraveling so that your cover will last for a long time.
