Shade Tree receives many requests for privacy screening of various sorts: from tennis courts and ball fields to patio screening.

Shade Tree recommends using our 78% lath shade cloth for patio shading, privacy screening, and tennis courts.

Our lath shade cloth features alternating bands of dense 100% shade cloth with open bands that are 9/16″ wide for an overall shading factor of 78%. Since the open areas let heat pass through, this shade cloth is generally cooler than compariable densities. The 78% lath shade cloth comes in both black and green.

Please note that since our shade fabrics are designed to let a certain amount of light through, they do not afford 100% privacy. For more effective privacy coverage, we can produce multi-layer panels. Please contact us for more information.
