Deer Farming Shade Cloth

Shade Tree Shade cloth - deer farming

Shade Tree recommends a shade cloth density of 78% to 95% for deer farm site barrier fencing and collection pen fencing. Using a shade cloth on site barrier fencing helps to control poaching and to insulate livestock from outside influences such as a nearby highway or road.

Shade Tree’s 78% lath shade cloth is ideally suited for site barrier fencing because the alternating bands of fabric and clear openings lets wind and rain pass through the fabric thereby decreasing the effects of high winds. Further, according to information provided by the Deer Laboratory at the University of Georgia, the openings in the lath material are invisible to the deer: the lath fabric appears solid to deer.
